What PDF Maker and Checker makes
Helps your agent read and make PDFs where the layout matters. Instead of trusting the text alone, it turns pages into images and looks at them, so spacing and alignment problems get caught.
It makes new PDFs with a Python library, pulls out text with other tools, and re-checks the rendered pages after each change. It tells you which tools to install if they are missing.
Best for: Anyone who needs good-looking PDFs made or reviewed, not just their text extracted.
- Render pages to images and inspect them
- Creates PDFs with reportlab
- Extracts text with pdfplumber or pypdf
- Re-checks layout after every meaningful edit
Made with this skill

Make a polished two-page PDF trip plan for a first visit to Lisbon: one day per neighbourhood, a simple route picture, a packing list and a few useful Portuguese phrases. No prices or opening hours. Any brands, names or numbers inside are invented examples.

ChatGPTby OpenAI
- 1 Download the skill (.zip) with the button at the top of this page, then unzip it.
- 2 Open the ChatGPT desktop app and look for Skills in the sidebar, where standalone skills are listed.
- 3 Add the “openai-pdf” folder there if your version offers it. If you do not see Skills yet, use this skill in Claude or Codex instead.
- 4 In a chat, type @ and pick the skill, or just ask. Ask for what you want, for example: “Make a one-page PDF invoice from this data”
To make your own, describe the workflow to @skill-creator in ChatGPT Work and it drafts a skill for you.
